Viper Hold

How we work

How we run an account, step by step

Our engagement model is highly structured. We do not skip steps, we do not guess, and we refuse to scale ad spend until the tracking proves it is profitable. Everything moves in a deliberate sequence.

The Methodology

Why sequence matters more than tactics

The digital advertising industry loves to talk endlessly about bidding algorithms, creative testing frameworks, and advanced audience segmentation. Those tactics absolutely matter, but they are entirely useless if executed in the wrong order. You cannot effectively test ad copy if your conversion tracking double counts sales. You cannot trust an automated bidding algorithm if it is optimizing toward spam leads that never close.

That is why every Viper Hold engagement follows the exact same five stage process. The sequence is the strategy. We start by forensically examining what you already have. We repair the measurement layer to ensure absolute fidelity. Only then do we restructure the account, launch the campaigns deliberately, and begin the weekly cycle of compounding the wins.

This process is not fast. If you are looking for an agency to push a button and miraculously double your revenue by Friday, we are the wrong choice. But if you want a structural rebuild that turns your ad accounts into a predictable, mathematically sound engine for customer acquisition, this is exactly how it is done.

The Five Stages

How an engagement runs, step by step

This framework applies whether you are spending ten thousand dollars a month or a million. The stakes change, but the physics of the ad auction do not.

  1. 01

    The Audit

We go through the existing account line by line. We identify wasted spend, broken tracking implementations, and deep structural problems. You get the findings in writing, rigorously ranked by their financial impact, whether or not you decide to hire us.

  2. 02

    Build the Measurement Layer

Before we spend a single dollar, we fix the tracking. We configure tags, set up server side tracking if necessary, handle consent modes, and deduplicate events across channels. Until the platform numbers agree with reality, every optimization is just a guess.

  3. 03

    Structural Rebuild & Deliberate Launch

We restructure the campaigns around true intent and profit margin. We launch on tightly controlled budgets so the first fortnight produces clean signal rather than financial damage. We actively prevent the platform algorithms from running wild.

  4. 04

    The Weekly Loop

We compound the wins. This involves query level negative keyword management, aggressive placement exclusions on display networks, bid adjustments based on margin, and testing fresh creative. We are squeezing out the inefficiencies week by week.

  5. 05

    The Monthly Report

We report in plain English. No automated dashboard links devoid of context. We tell you what we spent, what it returned in actual revenue, what we learned from the market, and what specific levers we are pulling next month.

The Foundation

The measurement prerequisite

If you take nothing else away from our methodology, understand this: we refuse to run traffic on broken tracking. In our experience, roughly 80% of the ad accounts we audit have fundamental flaws in their measurement layer. They are double counting conversions, they are entirely missing server side events, or they are tracking top of funnel "leads" that are actually just spam bot submissions.

When tracking is broken, the automation algorithms inside platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads are essentially flying blind. They will ruthlessly optimize toward the easiest, cheapest conversion action they can find. If your tracking accidentally fires on a page view rather than a completed checkout, the algorithm will spend your entire budget buying meaningless page views.

This is why Stage 2 of our process, building the measurement layer, is completely non negotiable. We spend the first week of an engagement configuring Google Tag Manager, writing custom JavaScript to capture dynamic conversion values, implementing Consent Mode to handle European privacy regulations, and ensuring server side deduplication.

We then manually compare the platform numbers against the reality of your Stripe account, your Shopify dashboard, or your CRM. Until those numbers reconcile perfectly, we do not scale the spend. It is unglamorous, highly technical work, but it is the bedrock that allows every subsequent decision to be mathematically sound.

Client Responsibilities

What we need from you

An agency relationship is a partnership, not an abdication of responsibility. While we handle the heavy lifting of media buying, bid management, and technical tracking implementation, there are specific inputs we absolutely must have from your side to make the engagement successful.

  • Candid financial data: We need your true gross margins, average order values, and your strict, break even acquisition costs.
  • Prompt feedback: When we flag lead quality issues, we need you to tell us exactly what is happening in your CRM so we can adjust the targeting.
  • Creative assets: If we are running display, native, or paid social campaigns, we rely on you for brand assets, imagery, and product video.
  • Patience: The first thirty days are about establishing a clean baseline and gathering data, not breaking historical sales records.

If you can provide the unit economics and the raw materials, we can build the machine. If those inputs are missing, delayed, or fabricated, the machine will fail regardless of how well we manage the auction.

Process FAQ

Common questions about the engagement

How long does the audit phase take?

An independent ad account audit typically takes five to seven business days from the moment we receive access. We deliver the findings in writing, accompanied by a prioritized list of structural fixes.

Do I have to implement the measurement fixes myself?

It depends on your infrastructure. We provide the exact tracking codes, tag manager configurations, and server side scripts. If you have a developer, they implement it. If you do not, we can often deploy it via Google Tag Manager for you, assuming we have the correct access.

When will we start seeing results?

The first fortnight of a rebuilt account is strictly for gathering clean data and stabilizing the auction algorithms. Meaningful efficiency improvements usually begin materializing in month two, as we isolate the profitable queries and compound the wins week over week.

What if the initial audit finds nothing wrong?

If your account is genuinely structured perfectly, tracking every dollar accurately, and bidding flawlessly against margin, we will tell you exactly that. We will advise you to keep doing what you are doing and decline the engagement. We only take on accounts where we can mathematically prove we will add value.
